About the role#
The Reliability team ensures quality is built into every stage of the Terran R design and production process. You will work directly with design, manufacturing, test, and launch teams to stay close to the hardware and shape decisions. This role focuses on establishing processes, controls, and inspections as the program moves into production.
What you'll do#
- Identify trends in quality data to drive improvements to processes and inspection methods.
- Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, and Suppliers to implement effective inspection practices.
- Resolve internal or supplier build issues through Root Cause, Corrective Action, and Non-Conformance Management.
- Support the execution of Quality initiatives within the factory or the supply base.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, or Computer Engineering.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with GD&T.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Location & details#
- Locations: Cape Canaveral, Florida or Long Beach, California.
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.
- Cape Canaveral internships require your own transportation.
