About the role#
The Avionics Manufacturing team manages the build and test of PCBA, electromechanical assembly, harness, and instrumentation systems for the Terran R vehicle. As an intern, you will work with design, quality, test, and manufacturing teams to transition new electronic hardware into reliable, high-volume production. You will contribute to processes used for flight hardware while helping the production team scale across products.
What you'll do#
- Partner with design, quality, test, and manufacturing engineers.
- Author work instructions for production processes.
- Design assembly and test fixtures.
- Qualify new equipment for the production line.
- Support the production team as manufacturing rates increase.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in aerospace, electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, or industrial engineering.
- Practical, hands-on experience gained through labs, projects, previous internships, or hardware teams.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and production teams.
- A self-motivated approach to solving technical problems.
