About the role#
The Research Intern provides social science research support for assignments of low to moderate complexity. You will work under the supervision of experienced professionals to contribute to various projects and business development efforts.
What you'll do#
- Conduct literature reviews and perform statistical analysis on primary and secondary data.
- Prepare memos, tables, and graphs based on research findings.
- Develop project materials including report outlines and visual exhibits.
- Serve as an editor for project deliverables.
- Coordinate document preparation and reproduction to support business development.
- Conduct background research on programs, award history, and agency objectives to support new business development.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree or higher in Criminology, Criminal Justice, Social Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of research principles, processes, and methods.
- Data entry experience and strong problem solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office software.
- Familiarity with statistical software, specifically SPSS.
