About the role#
As a Student Caseworker, you will play a key role in managing student casework, including academic appeals, complaints, and disciplinary matters. You will ensure that all cases are handled promptly and fairly in accordance with institutional processes, contributing to a positive student experience.
What you'll do#
- Manage a set portfolio of student cases from start to finish, including evidence collection and file preparation.
- Monitor case progress to ensure institutional timescales are met and students remain informed.
- Provide authoritative advice regarding the operation of student casework processes.
- Support senior management by identifying trends and issues within student cases.
- Contribute to the development of enhanced casework procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Provide secretarial support for hearings and panels, including minute-taking and report writing.
What you'll need#
- Experience in coordinating casework and working in accordance with specific regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Proven ability to produce professional, clear, and concise correspondence and reports.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Relevant academic background in fields such as Psychology, Political Science, Sociology, Communications, or Human Resources.
