About the role#
As a Data Analyst Intern at R2, you will work within the Data Science and Machine Learning department to support the financial infrastructure of Latin American businesses. You will focus on analyzing data patterns to enable new financial opportunities for small and medium enterprises. This is a full-time, paid internship role.
What you'll do#
- Build processes for structuring, cleaning, and enriching data from diverse sources.
- Generate high-impact insights by performing descriptive analysis on merchant and transactional data.
- Process transactional data using feature-based and time-series approaches.
- Execute data science operational procedures to provide high-quality results for businesses in Latin America.
What you'll need#
- At least one year of experience with data analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python or R and SQL.
- A data-oriented mindset with a focus on evidence-based decision-making.
- Experience with SQL procedures and data orchestrators such as Airflow.
- Proficiency in consuming data through APIs, SFTP, or CSV files.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or Mathematics.
