About the role#
This internship provides practical experience for those starting a career in data analytics. You will join the Talent and Business Innovation team to support various data projects. The role requires a balance of independent work and team collaboration to translate data needs into actionable insights.
What you'll do#
- Identify user needs and collect data for team projects.
- Perform data analysis and interpret findings.
- Create visual representations of complex quantitative and qualitative data.
- Analyze Teacher Training test scores and federal or state grant metrics.
- Assist the team in building high-level dashboards to track performance.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing or recently graduated from an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Data Analytics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with data software.
- Knowledge of best data practices.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or Smartsheet is preferred.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, part-time position requiring 10 to 20 hours per week.
- The schedule is flexible to accommodate your classes.
- The role is remote, with weekly check-ins and occasional in-person meetings at the LCCC campus in Elyria, Ohio.
- Applicants must reside in Ohio within a reasonable commuting distance of the campus.
