    About the role#

    The Brave Justice College Internship offers students a look into the work of the Queens District Attorney's Office. You will work alongside Assistant District Attorneys in one of several divisions, including Investigations, Major Crimes, or Supreme Court Trial. This program runs for nine weeks during the summer of 2027.

    What you'll do#

    Interns are assigned to a specific bureau and assist with daily prosecutorial tasks. Your responsibilities may include:

    • Researching and writing assignments for pending cases.
    • Assisting with motion and discovery practice.
    • Helping with search warrant applications.
    • Observing proffers and conducting civilian or police interviews.
    • Attending court appearances and visiting crime scenes.
    • Participating in community outreach programs.
    • Attending office-wide legal training sessions.

    What you'll need#

    We are looking for current college students who have a strong interest in public service and criminal law. Relevant fields of study include Political Science, Criminal Justice, History, Sociology, and Philosophy.

    Location & details#

    This position is located in Kew Gardens, New York. The internship is an on-site, full-time role requiring attendance Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The program runs from June 7, 2027, through August 6, 2027. Please note that this internship is unpaid.
