About the role#
As an Engineering Intern in our Protection & Control department, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting our teams on real-world projects. This role allows you to apply your academic coursework in a professional environment while learning directly from experienced mentors. You will contribute to electrical design packages and build both technical and professional skills.
What you'll do#
- Create and edit electrical drawings using AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Assist with quality checks on drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support project documentation and general office tasks.
- Apply company processes and client standards to your project work.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across various project phases.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student in an ABET-accredited program pursuing a BS or BE degree in Electrical Engineering.
- You have familiarity with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- You possess strong attention to detail along with solid communication and interpersonal skills.
- You are authorized to work in the United States.

- This role is based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
- This is an on-site position.
