About the role#
As an Engineering Intern at Qualus, you will work on real-world projects within our Engineering and Advisory department. This role provides hands-on experience by supporting our engineering teams with electrical design packages and project documentation. You will learn from experienced mentors and apply your academic coursework in a professional environment.
What you'll do#
- Create and edit drawings using AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- Assist with quality checks on electrical drawings under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Support project documentation and general office tasks.
- Apply company processes, procedures, and client standards to your project work.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across various project phases.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
What you'll need#
- You are a full-time student in an ABET-accredited program pursuing a BS or BE degree in Electrical Engineering.
- You have authorization to work in the United States.
- You have familiarity with AutoCAD and MicroStation.
- You possess strong attention to detail.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- This role is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
- This is an on-site position.
- The internship is paid and operates on a rolling basis.
