About the role#
This is a 15-week internship focused on prototyping, consumer research, and data analysis. You will gain hands-on experience supporting product development and in-person research studies from initial setup through final analysis.
What you'll do#
- Create physical product samples and prototypes.
- Operate a digital UV press and CAD cutting table.
- Prepare artwork and production files for digital workflows.
- Refine prototypes based on project feedback.
- Plan and physically set up in-person consumer research studies.
- Move and organize research materials, equipment, and displays.
- Assist with participant interactions and data collection.
- Organize and analyze research results using Microsoft Excel.
- Identify patterns and findings from consumer data.
- Contribute to research summaries and Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Business, Communications, Graphic Communications, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- You must be entering your junior or senior year.
- Experience with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in an in-person research environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift research materials and equipment.
- Reliable transportation.
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, or authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Submission of an unofficial transcript and résumé.
- If you live outside South Carolina, you must relocate at your own expense for the duration of the program.
