About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Test Engineering Intern to join our Advanced Cellular, Connectivity & Sensors, or High Performance Analog business groups. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Greensboro, North Carolina. You will work on projects that support our semiconductor manufacturing processes.
What you'll do#
- Write automated test software in C++ or C# to control equipment and run test plans.
- Design RF fixtures and probe cards, including PCB layout and interface cabling.
- Use test equipment like network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and DC source/measure units to take product measurements.
- Analyze and verify measurement data to create reports and presentations.
- Document your software and test system designs.
- Develop test solutions for bench and ATE testing using custom Loadboards and Lego Cards.
- Create product interface fixtures using Altium Designer and Keysight ADS.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Coursework or experience with Analog/RF circuit design.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as C# or VB.NET.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and organizational skills for planning and scheduling tasks.
