About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Test Engineering Intern for our Hillsboro, Oregon site. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. You will work within our business groups to gain experience in semiconductor testing and hardware design. Please note that this position does not offer visa sponsorship.
What you'll do#
- Write automated test software to control equipment and execute test plans.
- Develop measurement automation using C++, Microsoft C#.NET, or NI LabVIEW.
- Support RF fixture and probe card design, including PCB layout and interface cabling.
- Use Altium Designer and Keysight ADS to develop product interface fixtures.
- Operate test equipment such as DC source units, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
- Analyze measured data and document your test system designs.
- Prepare reports and presentations to share your findings.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program for Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Coursework or practical experience in Analog/RF circuit design.
- Familiarity with C++ and Python.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage your own schedule and tasks.
