About the role#
Qorvo is hiring a Test Engineer Intern to join our D&A-CRAD team. This role provides hands-on experience in semiconductor testing within our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors groups. You will work on-site in Richardson, Texas, on a full-time basis.
What you'll do#
- Measure products using test equipment including DC source/measure units, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and digital pattern generators.
- Validate products using manual test stations and create power budgets based on equipment specs and device needs.
- Develop test software to control equipment, execute test plans, and manage data sets.
- Test Multichip Package (MCP) devices for RF and DC parameters such as gain, compression, current, and phase.
- Process, verify, and analyze measurement data to create clear reports and presentations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program for Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Coursework in Analog or RF circuit design.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as VB.NET or C#.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
