About the role#
As a Supplier Quality Engineering Intern, you will work within the Global Operations business group. You will support the team with daily quality management tasks and help improve systems for managing supplier quality. This role involves working alongside Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to support production and product development.
What you'll do#
- Assist in developing and improving supplier quality management systems.
- Participate in supplier audits.
- Manage supplier control charts and Certificate of Analysis data.
- Verify material defects using microscopes and measurement tools to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Review, organize, and archive supplier documentation.
- Maintain system tools to keep supplier data and reports current.
- Capture and analyze defect data to define acceptance and rejection criteria.
- Support the management of Supplier Quality metrics, specifications, and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- A good understanding of statistical process control methods.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail.

- Location: Richardson, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $31 to $42 per hour.
