About the role#
Qorvo is looking for a Manufacturing Quality Engineer Intern to join the Global Operations team in Richardson, Texas. You will work in an assembly factory environment that utilizes equipment like die attach, wire bond, SMT, mold presses, and vacuum reflow. This role offers exposure to the construction of complex products and provides support to the Incoming Quality Control group.
What you'll do#
- Partner with process engineers to find root causes and support corrective actions during problem-solving activities.
- Monitor factory performance indicators, review action logs, and follow up on assigned corrective actions.
- Use metrology tools to measure key attributes across a broad range of incoming assembly materials.
- Extract and analyze data to identify trends and recommend potential actions.
- Assist supplier quality engineering with the analysis and documentation of discrepant materials.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum 3.5 GPA.
- Experience applying problem-solving techniques through lab work, coursework, or projects.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
