About the role#
Qorvo is hiring an Industrial Engineering Intern to join our Global Operations business group in Greensboro, North Carolina. This internship provides hands-on experience in semiconductor manufacturing through challenging projects that support our operations teams.
What you'll do#
- Develop and consolidate key performance indicators and dashboards.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify process drift.
- Work on lean waste reduction projects.
- Reduce work queues.
- Observe cross-functional teams to drive improvements in cycle time, constraints, efficiency, and cost.
- Create reports and documentation to present your findings to business leaders.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Experience with computer databases like Oracle and SQL, including advanced Excel macros.
- Familiarity with reporting tools such as Spotfire or Tableau.
- Experience using Wrike and SAP.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to work as a self-starter.

- This role is based on-site in Greensboro, North Carolina.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
