About the role#
As a Digital Systems Engineering Intern, you will work within the High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, or Connectivity and Sensors business groups. You will focus on the control and operation of modules, breaking down complex designs and requirements into manageable blocks. This role involves working across teams to ensure sub-blocks integrate correctly to meet customer needs in high-volume mobile telecommunication markets.
What you'll do#
- Develop and improve scripts, tools, automation, and simulations for communication designs.
- Assist test teams in identifying relevant tests and optimizing test coverage targets.
- Create detailed control block diagrams, block and sub-block requirements, and control logic.
- Produce detailed timing diagrams and control mode tables.
- Interact with subject matter experts to gather design knowledge and execute project tasks.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Systems Engineering. A Master’s or PhD degree is preferred.
- Completed coursework in at least three of the following: Analog Circuit Design, Radio Frequency Design, DC-to-DC Converter Designs, Digital Designs, or Software Design.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including complex operations and macros.
- Experience with Cadence IC, RF Design Software, or Keysight Advanced Design System (ADS).
- Experience with Matlab.
- Programming skills in C++, C#, Python, or other scripting languages.

- This position is located in Greensboro, North Carolina.
- This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- The internship follows a rolling schedule.
- This position is paid.
