About the role#
Qorvo offers internship opportunities within our Global Operations business group. This role provides students with hands-on experience in a production wafer fab environment. You will work on projects that support our manufacturing processes and technical objectives.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and review semiconductor manufacturing data from metrology, failure analysis, and testing to find root causes and solutions.
- Design and run experiments, participating in teams that develop manufacturing solutions and improve process integration.
- Develop, use, and improve software tools for data collection and analysis.
- Review product mask designs to check for design rule compliance and wafer fab processing implications.
- Correlate RF test results with wafer fabrication data.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing methods, metrology, and failure analysis data.
- Strong data analysis skills using various tools.
- Ability to work independently and direct your own tasks.
- Effective presentation skills, leadership ability, and attention to detail.

- This position is located in Richardson, Texas.
- This is an on-site, full-time internship.
- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
