About the role#
Qorvo is looking for a Database Intern to join the Global Operations business group. This role provides an opportunity to gain experience through project-based work and technical assignments. You will work within a collaborative team environment and receive mentorship from industry experts.
What you'll do#
- Streamline application and software processes by developing and maintaining software for various projects.
- Benchmark software to maximize efficiency and identify improvements.
- Drive API development to support data structure, access, integration, and visualization.
- Manage database design and implementation tasks.
- Document and report progress according to team design practices.
- Provide support to internal customers to resolve technical issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a BS, MS, or PhD program in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in XML, HTML, C#, Java, Python, or C++.
- Familiarity with IDEs, multithreading paradigms, shell scripting, algorithms, and data structures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
