About the role#
Qorvo is hiring an Applications Engineering Intern to support our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, Connectivity and Sensors, and Global Operations business groups. This role provides hands-on experience with semiconductor solutions and RF technology. You will work on projects that directly support customer and industry applications.
What you'll do#
- Develop automated testing solutions using RF instruments.
- Perform RF measurements on device characteristics like gain, noise, and linearity.
- Analyze measurement data and summarize findings for internal and customer-facing presentations.
- Compare our parts against competitor products.
- Simulate and design RF matching networks.
- Create marketing collateral such as datasheets and application notes.
- Review and update internal and customer product specifications.
- Design RF system-level solutions to support industry needs.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
- Minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Interest in a career related to RF Engineering.
- Coursework or experience in analog/RF circuit design.
- Familiarity with circuit simulations and lab environments.
- Knowledge of programming languages including Python, SQL, or C#.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to summarize and present technical information effectively.

- This position is based on-site in Richardson, Texas.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
