About the role#
Qorvo is hiring an Application Engineering Intern to join the Global Operations business unit in Apopka, Florida. This role focuses on improving engineering workflows and supporting the development of design methodologies for RF, analog, and digital systems. You will work on real projects that contribute to our technical operations.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate existing engineering workflows to find opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Use scripting, including Python, to increase the efficiency and consistency of design activities.
- Assist in the development and deployment of methodologies for RF, analog, and digital design flows.
- Analyze technical results and create clear presentations for business and engineering audiences.
- Run RF network simulations and support analysis as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.3 or higher.
- Coursework or experience in analog or RF circuit design.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- A strong interest in RF engineering or cellular communications.
- Ability to summarize technical information for clear presentation.
- Python scripting experience is highly preferred.
