About the role#
As a Digital Assurance & Transparency (DAT) Intern, you will join our Assurance practice in Pittsburgh for the Summer 2028 term. This full-time, on-site role provides exposure to our auditing methodologies and professional practices. You will support teams on projects that help clients build confidence in their financial reporting and decision-making processes.
What you'll do#
- Support audit teams by executing digital assurance tasks.
- Observe and learn from experienced auditors to understand financial reporting.
- Assist in the application of auditing methodologies.
- Conduct basic research and data analysis to identify patterns.
- Participate in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit processes.
- Contribute to the evaluation of cloud engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to apply compliance and governance standards.
- Apply a learning mindset to develop your professional skills.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, or Information Technology.
- A minimum 3.0 overall GPA.
- Eligibility to meet the educational requirements for the CPA exam or CISA licensure before starting full-time employment.
- Typically, you are in your third year of a four-year degree program or your fourth year of a five-year program.
