About the role#
Internal Audit and Financial Advisory interns support Protiviti clients by delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions. You will work across various industries to solve business challenges, grow your technical skills, and gain leadership experience. Interns join either the Business Process Audit and Advisory or Technology Audit and Advisory teams. You will participate in the Liftoff with Protiviti onboarding program and attend The Intern Challenge to build professional connections and confidence.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with team members to deliver solutions for complex business problems.
- Participate in Business Process Audit and Advisory or Technology Audit and Advisory projects.
- Handle and analyze data to uncover insights and draw actionable conclusions.
- Apply critical thinking and innovation to client engagements.
- Engage in internal initiatives and participate in professional development activities.
- Seek feedback and guidance to strengthen performance throughout the internship.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Current enrollment in a degree program with an expected graduation date within 12 months of completing the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using AI tools for research and analytical tasks.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in team settings.
- Strong academic background and a growth mindset.
- Must be at least 18 years of age at the time of the internship.
Location & details#
- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (combines in-person office or client site work with remote work).
- Employment Type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $28 to $38 per hour.
