About the role#
As a Capital Deployment Intern, you will support the Toronto team by enhancing market intelligence and development pipeline tracking. You will work on property data, competitive research, and financial modeling. During this 10 to 12 week program, you will coordinate daily with the Director of Investments to complete a term project for the broader Deployment Team.
What you'll do#
- Manage the internal property database (BUD).
- Use Salesforce to manage the Deployment Team pipeline.
- Research and map properties that compete with Prologis vacancies.
- Summarize competitive advantages.
- Build competitive set maps in Google Earth, including site plans, to track speculative deliveries.
- Support financial modeling and underwriting for new developments, land and building acquisitions, and build-to-suit opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program (rising sophomore, junior, or senior) or a graduate program.
- Majors in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to professionalism.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment.
- Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, Google Earth, property research, or organizing real estate market data.
- Preferred: Experience building maps, trackers, or summaries from multiple data sources.
- Preferred: Willingness to use emerging technology, automation, and AI tools.
