About the role#
This internship supports the Operational Excellence team by turning business challenges into practical AI product concepts and working prototypes. You will work with business partners to understand workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and explore how emerging AI capabilities can address specific needs. The program lasts 10-12 weeks and includes opportunities to connect with company leaders, participate in seminars, and join local market tours to understand our business operations.
What you'll do#
- Investigate business workflows and user needs to identify where AI can deliver value.
- Research and experiment with emerging AI capabilities to connect technology with business applications.
- Translate business needs into concepts for potential products and initial prototypes.
- Support product discovery by testing business cases, documenting findings, and moving projects through to completion.
- Connect business processes with AI technology, focusing on user interfaces and user experiences.
- Help improve consistency across AI user experiences at Prologis.
- Create and manage a central repository of AI user stories and experiences to support product development.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled as a rising sophomore, junior, or senior in an undergraduate program, or currently enrolled in a graduate program.
- Demonstrated hands-on use of generative AI tools to build, automate, analyze, or improve a project.
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to collaborate as part of a team and a willingness to learn.
- Preferred: Coursework or experience in product management, artificial intelligence, business operations, or user experience.
- Preferred: Experience translating business needs into user stories, workflow designs, or early prototypes.
- Preferred: Experience researching emerging technology or evaluating business cases.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, creative thinking, and accountability.

- Compensation: Undergraduate interns earn $25-$30 per hour. Graduate interns earn $35-$40 per hour.
