About the role#
The Corporate Events Intern supports our team in planning and executing events that build connection and community across the company. Working under the Senior Manager of Corporate Events, you will assist with logistics, research, and day-to-day planning for both in-person and virtual gatherings. This role is a great fit for someone who is organized, proactive, and interested in creating meaningful experiences for employees.
What you'll do#
- Research venues, vendors, and activity options for company events and offsites.
- Launch Progyny interest groups by gathering employee feedback and helping leads build engagement plans.
- Support logistics for internal team gatherings and company-wide programming.
- Maintain databases of venues, vendors, and industry resources.
- Draft event materials including checklists, run-of-shows, and attendee communications.
- Assist with event set-up, onsite staffing, and post-event breakdown.
- Manage the events inbox and respond to internal inquiries.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Event Planning, Hospitality, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage evolving priorities and support multiple projects at once.
- Interest in event planning, operations, or employee engagement.
- Ability to work 20-25 hours per week.
