About the role#
Join our team as an IT Technician Intern to support our construction operations. You will gain practical experience by maintaining our office technology and assisting colleagues with their technical needs. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Vancouver.
What you'll do#
- Provide in-person and remote technical support for workstations, printers, mobile devices, and related IT equipment.
- Deploy, configure, and update hardware including computers, monitors, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Install software on workstations and manage incoming requests through our ticketing system and shared mailbox.
- Participate in office IT projects and new equipment deployments.
- Maintain accurate documentation for all interventions and contribute to IT inventory management.
- Promote IT security policies and company standards while acting as a technical reference for your colleagues.
What you'll need#
- A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 environments.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and teaching skills.
- A mindset focused on customer service, autonomy, and thoroughness.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada and residence in the country for the duration of the internship.
- Current enrollment in a Canadian post-secondary institution or graduation within the last six months.
