About the role#
The Transaction Advisory Services Consulting Intern role provides support for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and management buyouts. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Southfield, Michigan. The position follows a hybrid work model.
What you'll do#
- Provide transaction-oriented accounting and reporting assistance.
- Prepare financial analysis to help clients evaluate acquisition decisions.
- Participate in client meetings and site visits to gather and assess financial data.
- Assist with the development and review of financial reports to determine the quality of historical earnings.
- Help prepare engagement letters and project proposals.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work as a detail-oriented leader.
