About the role#
This co-op position supports laboratory projects at the 222-S Laboratory Complex in Richland, Washington. You will apply your classroom education to practical work within your field of study. This role involves contributing to business core operations and assisting with special projects while working under the guidance of the project and construction management teams.
What you'll do#
- Perform administrative support activities in project management, accounting, business administration, or communications.
- Research and analyze problems, compile data, and prepare reports.
- Coordinate activities between various departments and outside parties.
- Provide suggestions for process improvements and assist in their implementation.
- Communicate with employees and external contacts to obtain or provide information.
What you'll need#
- Senior or post-grad student status enrolled full-time.
- Active full-time student status during the two semesters or quarters immediately preceding the assignment.
- Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- U.S. citizenship and at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to work 15 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Thursday.
