Intern - Marketing (2026 Season)

About the role#

This internship provides hands-on experience within the Pittsburgh Pirates Marketing department. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support daily operations, contribute to brand development, and assist with various marketing projects throughout the Fall 2026 season.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute marketing campaigns.
• Create and coordinate short-form vertical content.
• Conduct research on industry trends and marketing best practices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies and tactics.
• Coordinate, plan, and execute special events and projects.
• Support the Bucaroos Kids Club in both office and gameday capacities.
• Assist with gameday execution in coordination with the Ballpark Entertainment and Corporate Partnerships departments.
• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks as needed.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a degree-seeking program at the Junior, Senior, or Graduate level.
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Sports Management, Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, Operations Management, Psychology, or a similar field.
• Authorization to work lawfully in the United States.
• A flexible schedule that includes availability for nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in a marketing or social media role is desired.
