Intern - Ballpark Productions (2026 Season)

About the role#

The Ballpark Productions Intern will support in-game entertainment operations for the Pittsburgh Pirates during the 2026 season. This role focuses on the preparation and execution of live ballpark displays, assisting with technical equipment, and gaining hands-on experience within the control room environment.

What you'll do#

• Prepare graphic elements and day-of-game updates for ballpark video displays, including headshots, statistical graphics, and sponsored features.
• Organize and prepare A/V equipment for in-game production.
• Shadow and support various control room roles, including replay, clip playback, Xpression, and camera assistance.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Manager of Ballpark Productions.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a major in Video Production, Broadcast, Media Studies, or Communications.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple project tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Ross Xpression and the Adobe Suite.
• A solid understanding of Major League Baseball and baseball statistics.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Desired: Experience in a control room environment and working knowledge of Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
