SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is day-to-day operations to maintain golf courses. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or GED required and enrolled in a 2 year or 4 year program for Agronomy Turf Grass Management. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Course set up duties to present proper tee marker positions and hole locations. Set up duties also involve litter and waste removal, ball washer maintenance and general care and upkeep of course amenities. - Mowing and grooming; keep up playability and high quality appearance. Walking and riding equipment. - Hand water turf; requires moving hoses manually and recognizing wilt conditions. This task is essential to keeping healthy turf. - Hand labor; including raking, shoveling, pushing and divot repair to groom the course PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
