About the role#
As an ETG Intern, you will join a collaborative team to support the corporate website and various web-based applications at Physicians Mutual. This role focuses on gaining practical experience in software development processes while working on customer-facing digital tools like calculators and pre-need portals.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the corporate website.
- Support front-end development using HTML, Angular, React, and Java.
- Build and maintain responsive web experiences for both mobile and desktop users.
- Troubleshoot, test, and resolve issues within customer-facing applications.
- Collaborate with developers and business partners to identify needs and implement solutions.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Junior or senior standing is preferred.
- Coursework or experience in web development.
- Familiarity with HTML and modern web development concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a team.

- Location: Omaha, Nebraska.
- Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: This is a 12-month internship averaging 25 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
