About the role#
As an ERI Analytical Solutions intern, you will work at the Phillips 66 Research Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. You will join a team focused on providing chemical insights and solutions to complex problems. The role involves using analytical chemistry expertise to improve measurement capabilities and supporting Refining and Midstream operations. You will receive guidance through coaching conversations with your manager and an assigned mentor.
What you'll do#
- Provide chemical insights and solutions to challenging technical problems.
- Collaborate with business units across the company, including refining, midstream, commercial, and renewables.
- Work alongside personnel in ERI and various business teams.
- Participate in orientation, training events, field trips, and weekly seminars.
- Present your project findings to senior business leaders and key stakeholders at the end of the summer.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters program in Chemistry or an equivalent field.
- A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
- Ability to work on-site at the Bartlesville, OK research facility.
- Availability for at least ten continuous weeks during Summer 2027.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
