Supply Chain Intern

About the role#

The Supply Chain Intern will support the Materials Department by assisting with the processing and handling of aircraft parts and materials. This role operates under the supervision of the Stores and Transportation Supervisor to ensure departmental policies and procedures are followed. This is a full-time, paid internship.

What you'll do#

• Assist the Materials Specialist with daily operational duties.
• Pack and unpack materials for shipping and receiving.
• Conduct warehouse audits by counting materials and comparing them to Ramco Inventory records to ensure accuracy.
• Perform limited data entry under the guidance of a Materials Specialist.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working environment in the warehouse.

What you'll need#

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills.
• Good writing and communication skills.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds and handle freight items of various sizes and weights.
• Valid vehicle driver’s license.
• Prior warehousing experience is preferred.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
