About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience within a food processing facility. You will work alongside experienced professionals to connect your classroom studies with daily business activities. The role involves rotating through various departments in fresh or cook plants to understand how operations drive the business.
What you'll do#
- Assist team and shift leaders with daily tasks including training and providing work direction.
- Support production staff to maintain product quality and ensure finished goods meet customer requirements.
- Help maintain a positive work environment to support associate retention.
- Administer company policies and procedures consistently.
- Rotate through functions such as live haul, wastewater, human resources, receiving, deboning, and shipping.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited four-year institution pursuing a bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Agriculture, or related fields.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate others.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
