About the role#
This is a temporary legal internship at Pugh & Pugh Attorneys at Law in Wamego, Kansas. You will provide administrative and clerical support to our legal staff, helping with matters involving real estate, corporate representation, estate planning, and probate. This role is on-site and requires a flexible schedule to accommodate your school commitments.
What you'll do#
- Process data using legal and title software.
- Prepare and mail correspondence.
- Run errands in Manhattan, Wamego, St. Marys, and surrounding areas.
- Assist attorneys, legal support staff, the reception team, and Tallgrass Title departments as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality while following firm policies and legal regulations.
- Manage your own workday and contribute as a functional member of the team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program with an interest in a legal career.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn case management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
