System Analyst Scheduling Intern

About the role#

Pembina Pipeline Corporation is seeking a System Analyst Scheduling Intern to join the Marketing Business Unit Logistics team in Calgary. This role supports the daily management of marketing positions and inventory tracking across SAIBR and RightAngle systems. You will work closely with schedulers, asset logistics, and marketers to ensure system data accurately reflects commercial activity and operational movements, while receiving mentorship from senior team members.

What you'll do#

• Support the company safety culture of 'Zero by Choice' and the 'Life Saving Rules'.
• Assist with daily scheduling and inventory activities, ensuring positions and movements are accurately recorded in SAIBR and RightAngle.
• Maintain and validate system data integrity by performing daily volumetric reconciliations between systems.
• Prepare end-of-day position reports to assist the Front Office in managing exposures.
• Investigate discrepancies and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution and accurate reporting.
• Act as a system subject matter expert and contribute to ongoing system improvements.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment or recent graduate in Business Administration, Mathematics, Logistics, or Data Science.
• 1-3 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience working with RightAngle or other ETRM systems.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerBI is considered an asset.
• Experience with IT implementations is considered an asset.
