About the role#
The ABA Student Analyst role offers graduate students a path to gain hands-on experience while working toward BCBA certification. You will balance direct service delivery as an RBT with supervised fieldwork hours. This role involves working with children diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities in home, clinic, or community settings.
What you'll do#
- Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Assist with functional behavior assessments, preference assessments, and treatment goal development under the guidance of a licensed BCBA.
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors and skill acquisition to prepare reports and modify treatment plans.
- Teach communication, social, academic, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to support behavior management strategies.
- Attend regular clinical supervision meetings to review progress and receive feedback.
- Maintain accurate client records, progress notes, and documentation while adhering to BACB ethical guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB.
- Current enrollment in an ABA graduate program for at least 6 months, with the goal of becoming a BCBA.
- Ability to work with children from birth to age 21 and their families.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
- Effective professional communication skills and the ability to interpret company policies and safety rules.
- Reliability regarding attendance and the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
