About the role#
This position is for students currently enrolled in an ABA graduate program who want to gain practical experience. You will participate in a comprehensive fieldwork program that balances theoretical learning with clinical application. Students receive mentoring from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to build expertise in behavior analytic services.
What you'll do#
- Implement behavior analytic services under the direct supervision of a BCBA.
- Assist with observational assessments and help carry out treatment plans.
- Prepare session materials and follow specific teaching procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for learning.
- Keep constant visual supervision of children and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Complete monthly knowledge checks and assignments related to the BCBA task list.
- Represent the program to families, visitors, and the public.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an ABA graduate program.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
- Completion of 40 hours of paid training within 90 days of hire.
- Successful completion of the RBT competency assessment and the RBT exam through the BACB.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
