About the role#
We are looking for a Human Resources Student to join our Toronto District for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site in Oakville or Toronto. You will work on various HR functions while gaining exposure to the construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Gain exposure to recruitment, training, professional development, and health and wellness programs.
- Help plan and run career fairs.
- Coordinate training sessions and handle course set-up.
- Prepare for daily events, manage meeting schedules, and track follow-up tasks.
- Draft confidential correspondence, reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Handle tasks that require high levels of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Take on additional duties and projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree or diploma program with a major in Human Resources.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to anticipate team needs and manage follow-up items independently.
- Capacity to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Resourcefulness in completing daily tasks.
- Initiative to manage multiple priorities and changing deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

- Compensation: $19.57 to $28.69 per hour, depending on experience.
