About the role#
This is a full-time internship position based in Orlando, Florida, for the Summer 2027 term. You will work on-site to support our safety team, helping to maintain high standards across our construction projects.
What you'll do#
- Assist site HSE professionals with inspections and incident investigations.
- Help orient new employees to the site.
- Manage and review safety documents to ensure they meet project and company standards.
- Gather, review, and distribute safety-related statistical information.
- Support the development and implementation of project-specific HSE plans.
- Deliver safety programs and orientations to site personnel.
- Help the safety department implement programs in compliance with company, state, and OSHA regulations.
- Input safety statistics and daily or weekly documentation into our internal database.
- Implement and monitor the PSI program and conduct PSI audits.
- Handle other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy, specifically with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Working knowledge of construction industry software.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
- Training in hazard anticipation, identification, and assessment.
- Experience researching and compiling information on occupational health and industrial hygiene policies.
- OSHA 10 Hour or OSHA 30 Hour certificate of training.
