About the role#
The Cost Containment Intern will join our team to support financial efficiency and healthcare cost optimization. You will analyze data, contribute to risk management projects, and help our clients manage their healthcare benefits. This role is based in our Philadelphia office and runs from June through August 2027.
What you'll do#
- Identify inefficiencies and savings opportunities within client data to support cost-containment initiatives.
- Build detailed Excel reports and models to track performance metrics and project progress.
- Assist with project management tasks to ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
- Conduct research on financial strategies and risk management to support client outcomes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising junior or rising senior at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuit of a degree in Business, Finance, or Risk Management (a focus in Risk Management and Insurance is ideal).
- Strong proficiency in Excel for modeling and data cleaning.
- Ability to work with large datasets to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Strong organizational skills to manage project timelines.
