About the role#
The EHS Intern works with the Safety Manager to support environmental, health, and safety initiatives across our manufacturing operations. You will gain hands-on experience with compliance documentation, safety programs, and process improvements. This role involves working in both office and shop environments to help maintain a safe and responsible workplace.
What you'll do#
- Review and update Safety Data Sheets and chemical inventory records.
- Join safety walks, inspections, and risk assessments at our facilities.
- Develop new safety audit forms and checklists.
- Draft and update safety procedures and training materials.
- Support environmental compliance tasks like waste management and sustainability projects.
- Compile and analyze safety data, trends, and audit results.
- Collaborate with teams to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and through conversation.
- Capacity to work both independently and with other departments.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, rolling internship.
- Physical requirements: You will work in office and shop settings, which may involve frequent standing, walking, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 30 pounds.
