Operational Excellence Intern

About the role#

The Operational Excellence Intern joins the Central Design and Estimating team to support construction design, including pole and transformer replacements. This role focuses on identifying and collecting data related to construction costs and project timelines to produce actionable insights and models.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the team on ongoing projects, issues, and program initiatives.
• Develop data metrics, identify data attributes, and document data sources and methodologies.
• Perform analysis on data models and present findings to support business cases.
• Prepare technical reports, presentations, meeting summaries, and formal correspondence.
• Support regulatory compliance activities and maintain tracking systems.
• Update the SAP asset registry and compile equipment specification information.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university.
• Must be continuing education toward a degree during or after the internship.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment.
• Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

• Locations: Concord, CA and San Francisco, CA.
• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
