About the role#
The Enterprise Risk Analytics (ERA) team develops quantitative methodologies and analytical tools to measure and communicate operational risks across the organization. This internship focuses on connecting quantitative risk modeling to control measures, supporting data-driven decision-making for critical infrastructure systems. This is a full-time, paid, hybrid position for Summer 2026.
What you'll do#
- Establish a database to assemble realized risk event data from across the enterprise.
- Compute the consequences of realized events across various risk dimensions by applying existing risk valuation frameworks.
- Create visualizations of analytical risk data to help decision-makers interpret risk results, including the effectiveness of control programs.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and clarify existing analytical processes.
- Collaborate with data product owners and risk professionals.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Visualization, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.
- Must be continuing education towards a degree during or after the internship.
- Proficiency with Python, Power BI, and Excel.
- Strong analytical and technical communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Experience in process documentation.
