About the role#
PACCAR Parts is looking for a Talent Acquisition Intern to join our Human Resources team in Renton, WA for the Summer 2027 term. This internship provides hands-on experience in full-cycle recruiting and HR operations. You will work alongside experienced professionals to learn about talent acquisition, build your professional network, and support our recruiting goals.
What you'll do#
- Partner with hiring managers to manage full-cycle recruiting activities.
- Support the Summer Internship Program by assisting with events, engagement, networking, and logistics.
- Use AI-enabled tools to draft candidate outreach and create job descriptions.
- Manage job requisitions in the applicant tracking system, including updates and closures.
- Review resumes and conduct initial outreach to assess candidate alignment.
- Coordinate interview schedules and logistics for both virtual and onsite meetings.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers, candidates, and HR stakeholders.
- Develop sourcing strategies to build diverse talent pipelines.
- Support candidate onboarding and maintain accurate data in SuccessFactors.
- Assist with various HR functions and special projects as needed.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in college, with junior or senior standing preferred.
- Pursuing a degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with a sense of urgency.
- Resourceful, proactive, and self-motivated approach.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
