About the role#
The Kenworth Division of PACCAR is seeking an intern for the Summer 2026 program in Kirkland, Washington. This full-time position offers experience in product planning within the motor vehicle manufacturing industry. You will work alongside managers and senior leaders to gain hands-on experience and build your professional network.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and new product opportunities.
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, sales, and operations teams to support product development and launches.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to guide product decisions.
- Assist in the creation of a forecasting tool.
- Learn the product development life cycle, including design, prototyping, and testing.
- Help plan and carry out customer-focused research events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program for Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Junior or senior standing is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data for decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of or experience with Human Centered Design.

- Location: Kirkland, Washington.
- Term: Summer 2026, beginning in May or June.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $25 per hour for undergraduate students and $30 per hour for graduate students.
