About the role#
This internship offers an opportunity to gain professional experience in product planning within the manufacturing industry. You will work directly with managers and senior leaders to support the product development life cycle, including design, prototyping, and testing. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Kirkland, Washington, scheduled to begin in May or June 2026.
What you'll do#
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and opportunities for new or improved products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as R&D, marketing, sales, and operations to support product launches.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform decision-making.
- Assist in the development of a product forecasting tool.
- Support the planning and implementation of customer-focused research events.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business Administration, Marketing, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Junior or senior standing is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of or experience in Human Centered Design.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Compensation: $25 per hour for undergraduate students and $30 per hour for graduate students.
