About the role#
We are looking for a Software Developer Intern to join our team in Renton, Washington for the Winter 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship. You will work alongside senior developers on distributed applications and gain hands-on experience in the automotive industry. We provide a structured development plan to help you build key technical skills throughout the program.
What you'll do#
- Work closely with a dedicated mentor.
- Design and develop new features for customer-facing software.
- Design, implement, test, and ship production-ready software solutions.
- Apply Agile software development methods.
- Collaborate on applications related to manufacturing, materials, sales, and marketing.
- Implement engineering and architectural patterns.
What you'll need#
- Foundational Computer Science knowledge through coursework or projects.
- Programming skills in C#, ASP.NET.NET MVC, Python, and React.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, Docker, microservices, and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, MS SQL, and file integration technologies.
- Knowledge of AI development.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Senior status is preferred.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, or Visual Studio is preferred.
- You must be able to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

- Compensation: $25 per hour for undergraduates and $30 per hour for graduate students.
