About the role#
As a Security Operations Intern, you will join the North America Security Operations team in Renton, Washington. You will gain hands-on experience in an enterprise environment while working alongside experienced security analysts and engineers. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and management of security systems, incident response, and monitoring.
What you'll do#
- Monitor and investigate security alerts from SIEM, EDR, cloud, identity, and email security platforms.
- Develop skills in threat hunting, security event analysis, and cybersecurity investigations.
- Learn about incident response processes and industry best practices.
- Build knowledge of attacker techniques, defensive security controls, and common cyber threats.
What you'll need#
- A completed Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Cybersecurity, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of IT and cybersecurity, including the concepts of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to present and discuss security topics with confidence.
- Experience with security tools, PowerShell, and Python is preferred.

- Location: Renton, Washington.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: This is a full-time, on-site internship.
- Compensation: Undergraduate interns earn $25 per hour, and Graduate interns earn $30 per hour.
